You apparently consider yourself to be an expert on other people's motives.I know. I saw it. But that's not the point.
Start another just like this, but with the options you want. That way, instead of all the arguing over how this poll disenfranchises the silent masses, you can have exactly the poll you think is appropriate to prove your theories.
Really, with as easy as it is to create a poll, they only reason *not* to do it is because you think the results won't show what you want. Or you don't really care about the results, you just want trash someone else's thread.
Do you really miss the boat that much or is it just something I'm imagining?
The truth of the matter is that the members have likely grown weary of multiple poll threads on the same basic subject.
Be all those polls fair and impartial, and/or whether they have the capacity to "prove" what they were created to "prove", or not.
I think my and Craig's polls already show what they were created to show, which is whether the voters want the Elgin or not.
I'm not a big of a fan of being suckered into utter and complete redundancy, thanks anyway.
This seems to be yet another case of someone saying, "Prove it!" and "Put your money where your mouth is!".
Your proposition that I won't recreate my poll because I'm afraid of different results is entertaining.
Great macho stuff... which I grew out of a long time ago.
Bottom line, Rob, is that two previous polls clearly and fairly show voter preferences and they just happen to support my "theories."
So, yeah, that rather is the point.
And... ask around...
I'm sure you'll find support for your implication that I may be someone who will "trash someone else's thread" for no other reason than I like to.
Concerning that paticular note, were you talking about me or yourself? I just get so confused sometimes.
