Electric Custom Front Wheel System?

I read an article of an electric custom front wheel system that is being made for older Mini's. Perhaps it could be used as a way to power the Elio? (just me thinking out loud). McGee's Custom Mini's. There are photos of it at the site. It seems rather compact and made for the smaller Mini.

I have a classic Mini and follow this company on FB. I first started following him because I want to do a Honda motor swap and he seems to have the best set up for that. They were showing this electric one on FB at one point and I asked about getting it in kit form, but at the moment it's just a one-off build.

that is a shame. I think it would make for some great reverse trike vehicles. I hope they change their mind and will be able to sell them so that others could use it in their vehicles; either conversions or project vehicles.
