EMV believes a governed Solo will live a longer life.
Arcimoto has basically said the same thing about their SRK.
Something to the effect that they don't want to "spin it all the way up."
That leads me to believe that if it can be UNlimited, it can also be UNwarrantied.

I've been in several situation where "the flow" of traffic was 85-90mph and police cars just passed us by without stopping anyone! I always stay in between cars that's doing more than the speed limit. I've also been in a situation where I was tailing a group of cars doing over the speed limit and got caught, I told the officer why only me?? And he responded " you're at the end and I'm only one, you see?? On a side note, staying in the fastest lane going slower than the speed limit or the flow of traffic could get you a ticket.

My daughter observed that our so-called hi-performance Mustang would only go 80mph. Isn't that curious? I must look into that.

I've never tried it, but If the tach on my '04 is any indication, it's six-banger should do at least 110mph.
