Great interview with Jerry. I want both the Solo and the Elio but I'm sure the Solo will come first. 200,000 in the next 12 months. I'm 391. You want to drive a 3 wheel then you should really send EM your Elio invoice and get online for free.

That's a little misleading; you get online fore free, you get a credit for a deposit you've already paid to another company on a vehicle that is very different .

And the Solo might not be for everyone, plus you don't get it for free, you still have to pay the balance on it.

Really it's not free? I never said it was free. I said you get inline and you don't need the $250 refundable deposit. Plus they take the Elio deposit towards their car. I also realize it may not be for EVERONE but it would be for many who want to drive a car for fun, which from the other post I have seen there are quite a few. I don't know and neither does anyone else know if Elio will make it or not, I sure hope they do, but either way I will be driving on 3 wheels. Just trying to let others know they can do this without losing anything and maybe saving their deposit money. You can always change you mind and not lose anything on the Solo.

The other problem I see is If your a non refundable all in er (like myself) and if you've committed to buy the Elio then your committed to Buy the Elio when it does come out! Some may want to gamble on Elio just letting you off the hook, but it could be a slippery slope!
I'd rather have my Elio anyways!

I completely understand and that makes sense but for me and probably a few others I would like both. Hell if Sondors makes it I will buy that too. I would expect thou that if you get one of the Signature Solos and then Elio comes out, you should be able to sell your Solo pretty quickly and then buy the Elio. I love the Elio, I'm $1000 all in and committed, but I don't know how long God will leave me here on Earth and I want to start driving some fun!
