The less oil we inport the better our trade imbalance. If we get to the point of not importing oil, it just means we export the excess we make helping the trade imbalance further. There is also the chance that we can get to the point of exporting elios, also helping the trade imbalance. I think the current administration won't have a problem with this.

The export of Elios will create jobs, reduce the imbalance of payments, reduce the demand for gasoline, reduce pollution and can provide greater mobility for those with low incomes. The Shreveport location is perfect for exports because of the short distance to multiple ports. Use https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials to contact government officials: Trump, your state's two senators, your congressional district's representative and the Secretary of Commerce. I mentioned Congress because you may live in a state with a congressional representative that is a member of a committee who's function is related to Elio's needs. The DoE may be an exception to this recommendation.

The Elio will be manufactured at a former GM plant in Shreveport, LA, and is expected to create upwards of 1,500 jobs at the facility and another 1,500 jobs from the supply base, Elio Motors corporate, and sales and service once full production is underway. The potential ripple effect will create or sustain approximately 18,000 additional indirect jobs nationwide.

We should be contacting this guy with the advantages of the ELIO, he seems to know much more than Trump, he served.

This is a better quote than what was written, but it is sure streching it when there is only the prototypes and one E1C manufactured.

My B.A. in English Education makes me wonder about the paragraph structure. Notice that the forth sentence is just a restatement of the second and third sentences with a few details added.
