I'm guessing these guys waited until the full funding announcement from Elio and then made their move trying to get a piece of the pie. Timing is too coincidental... I wonder if they were at the suppliers meeting. Kind of a low down thing to do.

If they want to stay on board they'll drop it or settle. Getting a piece of the pie now is small potatoes to what they can get if they play ball.

You think that's the Centro Inc that filed the lawsuit? I don't really think that matches. The address listed as the Plaintiff is:
Centro, Inc
11 E Madison Street, 6th floor
Chicago, IL 60602

That matches the address of the Centro, Inc. advertising company. It would be a pretty weird coincidence if the Centro molding company located in Iowa was suing Elio, and used the exact same filing address that is occupied by the Centro advertising agency in Chicago.

They have operations in Illinois also, so your guest is as good as mine. But I think you are correct, the address of 11 Madison are law offices but is this advertising agency in there?

The law firm thing was something I thought about. It would be an incredible coincidence, but not impossible. Unfortunately, you can't get copies of the filing without paying a documentation fee, and I'm not all that motivated to get my hands on it.

You already know the answer, others just won't look up the info and thus do not believe you. As for an answer from the source, they will not give you an answer because "We don't comment on pending litigation".
