Any Mets, Cubs, Bluejays or Royals fans around here?

American League Championship series starts tonight. Very excited about my Royals remaining in the playoffs. Toronto will be a tough team to beat in a 7-game series. Let the fun begin.

It's been a LONG time since any of these 4 teams have won the World Series, by memory, the Cubs were more than a century ago, Royals since 1985, Bluejays since 1993, Mets 1986. So SOME fan-base will be very happy in early November.

The Dodgers with their excellent pitching? Out. The Cardinals with their best record during the regular season? Gone. But the Cubs and the Mets are definitely on a roll, both very good teams.

Let's hear your thoughts, predictions, admirations, etc.

We know a bit more than yesterday... Mets are in, Cubs are out. Royals lead the series 3 games to 2, next game is Friday night in KC.
