It just seems odd that Arcimoto can't make full doors. Yet they keep introducing new items like that electric bike, half doors, Electric Can Am, Delivinator and the Emergency response thing. Why is it taking so long for them to just make full doors on the flagship product? I think that Arcimto needs to start producing as opposed to intoducing new products that will be made at some unknown date.

Not odd at all…...simply a good business model. Engineering full doors for a tight fit/seal on the FUV’s tubular frame is likely challenging along with the need to form and fabricate FUV component parts in-house. The half doors took 2 years beyond the production start, but they were done right. The top half might be done in the same time frame. Perhaps they plan to stamp the frame at some point. Doors are an option, so likely not a high priority. Production scale and tooling the new factory needs to be the highest priority. They have various teams working on different aspects of the business. All the future model options are on the FUV platform so not a real time burner and greatly expands the market demographics. Solid business plan from my perspective. Regarding the Cybertrike development it’s being engineered and developed by Tilting Motorworks, a division of Arcimoto. Note on critical and odd: If Elio Motors had shared Arcimoto’s vision and business model back in the day, we might be driving our Elio‘s today.

Arcimoto announced today that they were eliminating 32% of their employees, cutting out some production model development options, and focus the limited funding on the FUV production scale due to budget/funding shortfalls. Not good news for $FUV shareholders, those owning FUVs regarding service/parts, and owner wannabes. It’s not easy to get a vehicle to production, let alone scaled production numbers that provide the company with the steady funding stream they need to be successful. I’m growing weary after 15 years of following three wheeler vaporware concepts and failed three wheeler start ups. Without a doubt BEX will experience similar issues after jumping the hurdles on the way to crossing the production model finish line - certification, fund raising, partnering with parts suppliers, pricing, and availability of parts, factory, employees, and the sales and service model.

Also, Arcimoto is looking for a new buyer. "Strategic Restructuring Plan" which is secret code for "we are looking for someone to buy us." I really hope they can sell it to Polaris or Can Am as both of them can make a similar product way cheaper and can sell to all 50 states and Canada, plus with service and warranty. Arcimoto is only allowed in 13 states and no Canada.

Let's get a new buyer for the company and then let them succeed. Currently, they are floundering but at least the new CEO has business acumen. Good to see Mark out of his position. He was ruining a great company.

All of the above is odd uninformed negative commentary, for whatever RS‘s reasoning. Certainly farther along than Elio.
All I need is doors, Doors is all I need. The current owners are happy with the product and the customer care after the sale.
