Sadly, I made the decision to cancel my FUV order due to 1) the 2 year wait on doors and 2) we are moving back to South Dakota, well outside Arcimoto’s current regional sales and servicing areas. I may jump back in after Arcimoto rAMPS production numbers and expands sales/service to South Dakota. There will likely be a fully enclosed, tilting, Lean Mean Machine in the model line up by that time.

I thought you said that they wouldn't refund the deposit? What's going on with that? And why the hell are you moving to South Dakota?
Hey Coss, I wasn’t sure about getting the refund, but I think it will happen. All the 100 original FUV Evergreens delivered some time ago. It’s not like I cancelled, but rather they weren’t able to fulfill my order to include doors and delivered my FUV Evergreen #19 to some other lucky owner. Arcimoto is a very understanding company and take good care of their customer and fan base. Greed is not in their playbook for success. When they expand sales and service to South Dakota, I plan to reorder an enclosed tilting Lean Mean Machine Model for my grandkids. I may be old to drive by that time, but will get a kick out of watching my grandkids have the fun I’ve been hoping to have over the past 12+ years. All is good. I even enjoyed the Elio journey and years of discussion with Elio Owners Admins and members.
LOL I ask myself that same question every day! South Dakota was our home State for 64 years, prior to moving to Coeur d’Alene, ID 10 years ago. The extreme 4 season SD climate drove us out and it sucks to go back to that weather. We are moving mainly because of family and friends back ‘home’ and it’s a better place for my wife.
where in SD will you be moving ... we spend our summers in East-Central SD in my wife's home town of Estelline
we spend mid June through August out there each summer .... pass through Sioux Falls on 29 coming and going .... we also usually get down there for something once or twice while we are out there .... somewhere down the line we'd enjoy meeting for a Coke
I’m all in on a meetup for a coke and coffee. We have a buyer for our CdA home and in the process of searching for a replacement home in Sioux Falls. I will let you know when our plans are finalized and we have a specific date for our move.

We moved from our Sioux Falls home on 7.5 Acres to a low maintenance lifestyle condo in CdA. I’m to old for country, so trying to find a condo unit or twin home in an HOA retirement community back in Sioux Falls. The market there is crazy for whatever the reason. Homes selling in 24-48 hours after listing with multiple offers. Oddly, we liked the condo lifestyle.
