I am still partial to the "Trunk Monkey" but the Car Zapper 9000 does not require me to buy Bananas, a big plus.

Interesting that nobody mentioned LoJack. Their website claims 90% recovery rate.

Insurance is good but clever deterrents are great I like the battery kill switch, well hidden.

One of the reasons for getting an Elio is to save money. You can not do that with LoJack. Better to just get a $500 car and leave it unlocked.

I see... looked it up, LoJack is $700... and "Early Warning" if the vehicle is moved is another $300
