...Anyone know what current vehicle is using the same gauges as the Elio and have a better closeup?
Not sure, but I had a "flash-back" to the Chevy VEGA.

Butt ugly and cheap looking..........
AFAIK, It hasn't been officially disclosed as to which analog gauges will be in the Production Elio. They have analog tach/speedo gauges in the E1-C model in Joeker88's video. But it's unclear if these are the actual gauges to come with the production model.Anyone know what current vehicle is using the same gauges as the Elio and have a better closeup?
I bet it wasn't "cheap" and this is why they removed the Elgin dash. Standard instruments are butt ugly. So lets settle for ordinary & average because we are use to it... Go figure...Butt ugly and cheap looking..........
........or he could have owned a Rolex and the Elio's base would have jumped to $12K.
The Elgin is easy to read.

My Dad was a watchmaker and I can remember about 50 years ago him saying what a bad design the direct read Elgin was. He refused to sell them in his store.
And as to a Rolex style instrument cluster, at least we could read it without having to stare at it for a while to figure out what it says. (p.s. I like my Omega, it keeps better time than my wife's Rolex.).
All Elio has done is tweaked an old dead archaic instrument panel style and reanimated it. Sort of like a zombie...
