My son delivers Pizza. Maybe I can customize one for him! I think this would be cool. You could turn the whole trunk / back seat are into a warming oven. Of course, by the time I get my car and do any customization, he'll be on to bigger and better things.
Although...I'm shocked at how much money he brings home some nights from this job. Sometimes averages out to 20 plus dollars per hour! Nice work for a high school kid!

I think a lot of individuals will get this on their own for Pizza, newspapers etc. Especially for small routes, small volumes or where a truly low cost vehicle is needed to match the low income.
I had to deliver papers during the 'Dot-Com-Crash' and basically made very little money, while filling my Accord up to the brim with papers.
I can see it working to use an Elio in other newspaper situations where you can return to a stock-pile area, refill and go again.
But there are a multitude of independent contractor delivery jobs out there and the Elio would be perfect for these.
And the inter-city car sharing? OMG, that will be perfect addition to those fleets.

'Dad, I want to get my first job, could you help me buy an Elio to do that?' Can you imagine anyone saying no?
