Delayed our vacation a day & a half to see the Elio at the Air Show, it was worth it!

I got to see the Elio in person in Sacramento.
great car, I really like it, from talking to an Elio promoter it is estimated that the automatic transmission will be $1000 extra.
I tested both seats, the front seat is very comfortable, but the back seat is very uncomfortable, the problem with the back seat is that the roof is too low and the head has too be lean down creating a very uncomfortable position for the passenger. for the front seat this problem does not occur since at that location the roof is higher.
tall people will not be comfortable in the back seat, unless that problem is taken care of.

Elio Motors is well aware of this issue and told us months ago that they would be adding two inches of head room for the back seat passenger.
