The last date has always been mid. The one I think you are thinking of was last production date, and that was first quarter of 2015.

Took me a while to look at this article you/we're talking about. I'm pretty sure 'Hybrid' would give Elio Motors a chance to adjust any mis-quotes before release, so it's likely to be fairly accurate.

I do think it's very balance and does address directly to the nay-sayers as well as hooked-in-believers (like me), then makes it clear for everyone in between.
