1985 XR600r that I dualsporterized!John, What year and model is you Honda? I had a XL250 that looked very much like that one. What a great bike it was.
I rode my old 1980 XL250 and bought new 1985 XR 250 & 500 for my sons. Great bikes and we rode all over the off road trails in California and Nevada. Rode both highway and trails in North Carolina in the 70's.1985 XR600r that I dualsporterized! We are restricted to roads in Maine this time of year, otherwise I'd be on the trails.
So I generally ride on the road and always down to the Red Roof store for gas when I come out of storage.

Dusty, looks like you owned one of the first CB750s, the "superbike" that heralded the beginning of the end for the traditional British bikes in the 1970s.
