Dusty, looks like you owned one of the first CB750s, the "superbike" that heralded the beginning of the end for the traditional British bikes in the 1970s.

I had a Helix. Great little scooter! It was the one that started the whole "maxi-scooter" craze. Rock solid reliable. I have read of people putting over 100k miles on them! Sold it about 3 years ago. I got it with 16k miles, kept it for 2 years, sold it with 28k miles and almost doubled what I paid for it. . I loved it! Just could no longer justify the personal risks.

I ended up going to Juvenile Hall... for riding on the street! I was framed I tell ya! My first brush with THE LAW! (at nine y.o.) LOL!Same here. It had a bent up coat hanger for a throttle. Stuck wide open on me once heading for a big ditch [Eject! Eject! Eject!!].
