does anyone think, and I'm guessing here that the back will be black on all colors, that the fenders could be ordered a different color than the body, thinking white w/ black fenders?

Elio talked about that last spring, soon after the P4 came out, as an option; I suspect it will re-appear in due course. Specifically, they said that body-colored wheel covers would be available.

Your local body shop could probably custom-paint the wheel covers for little $$, maybe less than ordering the option would come to ... but who knows?

You know, taking a closer look at these body mod options, I wish Elio would consult with Silas -- really, to my eye, most of these are pretty kludgy, and all are "busy" (proliferating lines and angles with no unifying idea underlying them). "Smooth" and "rounded" don't equate to "unfinished."

I would say the stock configuration will be the best aerodynamic.

With the addition of the rear diffuser! Although there is function for a good bit if it.
For those who think Aero doesn't do anything around town.
When was the last time you held your hand out the window at 45mph?
When was the last time someone passed you at 45 while you sat in a turn lane?

If EM is offering wireless LED door-sill light, wireless fender LED lights shouldn't be a big step.

I wondered about that - I had the door-sill lighted logos on a car (part of a package, I wouldn't have spent the additional $ on them alone) and they looked nice, but after a week I forgot they were there. I had four on that vehicle, the Elio will have ONE unless I've missed something. For me, I'd rather spent the money on something else - something that is useful - and works more often than when the door is open. Of course that lighted Elio badge on the nose would be gone in about 20 minutes in my neighborhood. It's kinda garish anyway.

Using EL tape on the wheel fairings would be a good solution to providing marker lights. The tapes can be customized, fit to length and powered by your 12v lighting circuit at very low current drain. Mounted with double-sided trim tape, they could be placed horizontally or vertically on the fairings. Or you could go crazy and produce that "Tron" look, using EL "wire" to highlight the body lines.

Seen here on a Civic, the tapes are also available in various colors, including yellow and red, for use as marker lights.

Wow, this sounds like an awesome idea. I'd never heard of this Aqua Electroluminescent tape until now. Thanks!
