Has anyone flat out asked anyone from the touring team if anyone from Elio is either monitoring this site, or even is a stealth member?

Yes, I know that there are several members who have developed relationships with various Elio Motors employees and communicate with them.

Like Joshua said we know from talking to them that Elio Motors employees definitely regularly read what is being discussed on this and other forums. They do however mostly restrict their communication to official channels.

Goofyone has stated before they do monitor this, and other Elio forums that are independent of Elio Motors. He has also been a part of invitation only town hall meetings with Paul Elio, and other employees/board members. I believe that happened only because they found him on this site. I could be wrong about that, so maybe he can confirm this.

I first came to their attention because of my activity on the Elio Motors Owners Association private Facebook group and trying to help them keep the trolls under control on the official Facebook page. I don't think they actually made the connection with my moderation work on here for a while however they are now aware of the connection.

After last weekend I believe Joshua Caldwell made a very good impression on them and they have started to notice our members wearing the ElioOwners.com t-shirts as well. All the contact they are having with our members does have a real impact on how they view us as a group.

The plan for Saturday morning is for some of us in the Atlanta area to meet up at 7:30 AM Atlanta time next to the Costco Gas Station in the Cumberland Mall Parking lot. Everyone who wishes to is welcome to join us in carpooling and/or caravan over to Birmingham together.

For those of you already in Birmingham we plan on meeting up for breakfast when we reach the area at about 8:30 AM local Alabama time Saturday morning at the Cracker Barrel near The Summit. Everyone is welcome to join us for breakfast.

We also plan to head out to lunch sometime mid afternoon or so whenever everyone from Atlanta is finished enjoying the Elio and before we had back to Atlanta. Everyone who is around is welcome to join in on that also.

The Summit Mall is a collection of separate shopping centers scattered over a fairly large area. Look for the shipping center where Belk is located, on your right add you come in. This will keep you from driving aimlessly trying top find it.
