Glad you didn't fall for it. A few years ago my wife got scammed out of some money by someone who convinced her he was a cousin she had not seen in years and needed her help. I kept telling her the story didn't sound right and was she sure, but she was convinced it was lagit.... That cost us a few bucks! Now days it seems there are thieves every where.

About twice a year I get a phone call from my "Grandson". Something on the order of, "GranPa, I'm stuck in 'so and so' and need money to get my car fixed."
I then say, "No problem. I have your bank account number. I'll make a deposit immediately."

I sure miss the days when I'd get an email from a Nigerian Prince that had like $30M and only needed $5K from me so he could get it (he was stuck there and was broke but paying the officials would release the money). Then he'd split the money because of my trouble.

When the IRS called and would take my late payment with interest with iTunes Gift Cards, I thought that was classy.

Now it's just the PA Turnpike commission wanting me to click on a link on my phone to pay my tolls today or I'll be fined or lose my license.

How I longed for that $15M I could have got at least two dozen times but I passed up on it. I suspect Paul Elio passed up on them too, yet he could have funded his company with all of that money.

I don't know about a purchase, but his current home has been on the market for 35 days and is listed for $995,000.00 which is roughly $130,000.00 above assessed value.

Sounds very true. I say this because it has so many details. Nobody says $5M unless it's true. If someone said $10M, then I'd doubt it. Then when someone says he used a corporate name to make the purchase, sounds true because "corporate name" is really easy to look up. What sticks this on 7/8ths full on the truth meter, is that I read it on the internet.

This would be the false version of the rumor: Does anyone know if the rumor is true, that Paul Elio just bought a 10 million dollar house with crypto and used the corporate name of, Paul Elio's T-Shirt and Bumper Stickers, to make the purchase?

I think this would be a better rumor: Does anyone know if the rumor is true that Paul Elio bought the Lordstown Plant and has started production of the Elio-G? Plus, everyone in Ohio that has a reservation, will be the first to receive one at the original price agreed to in their contract?

That's a rumor that can get people excited and talking.
