"Impeding movement of traffic prohibited. --Except when reduced speed is necessary for safe operation or in compliance with law, no person shall drive a motor vehicle at such a slow speed as to impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic." -- https://codes.findlaw.com/pa/title-75-pacsa-vehicles/pa-csa-sect-75-3364.html -- Completely up to the attending officer's interpretation and discretion. Happens all the time. That also goes for going 50 on a 65mph two lane and backing up traffic behind you. Human nature as it is, those motorists will put themselves and others at risk by attempting to get around you in inappropriate places. That's reality. I don't know of a single one of these cases where the state lost.

50 MPH in a 70 MPH zone is NOT hardy: "Impeding movement of traffic". Some may get annoyed, but moving at 50 MPH is clearly MOVING and far from"lmpeding"! :D

No, but it IS dangerous. People do not drive 70 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Yes, many drive lower than 70. Many trucks are governed to much less. In my big rig, although not governed, I went cross country 60 MPH, and made a bunch more money with the fuel savings. Periodically, dispatch would ask me if I was not reporting any fuel bought outside of their fuel network (because all fuel must be reported to gov't.), as my MPG was so high at times. :D

Then we strongly disagree. I was out there. A lot. I drove an eighteen wheeler cross country for a living. Apparently I've seen more than you can possibly imagine. Maybe it's because I've always had a compulsion to see things as they really are and have always had an eye for not only detail, but for discerning cause and effect as well. Your kind of denial based position toward causing a proven danger to those around you is selfish and immature at the very least and, coupled with your other posts, I have to think it may well be a sign of a narcissistic personality disorder. I don't have time, consideration or respect for those who disregard the safety of others because they choose to be in denial regarding their own actions. Did you come here in an attempt to find reinforcement, and some kind of justification / enablement for that pattern of denial or did you come here just to stir things up and argue about your insistence on defending your proposed illegal, indefensible and inexcusable planned course of action? I am very reluctant to use the "T" word but... Your returning to spin up old posts in a confrontational manner for no apparent reason like this makes me wonder.

Heck, I refuse to drive a 70-80 mph capable three wheeler vehicle in 70+ mph highway traffic that includes eighteen wheelers. :)

Also, I take issue with ‘professional‘ truckers driving over the speed limit passing when my cruise is set to the speed limit and not accommodating the speed of their eighteen wheelers to weather conditions blowing snow or rain back as they pass, reducing my visibility. Obviously, not all professional truckers are as considerate as you were. There is generally a minimum & maximum speed limit posted.

I also drive our RV (all the RV types we've had over the years) with cruise set at 60 MPH to save fuel and wear & tear on vehicle, whether I'm on a relatively short trip or cross country. It is soooo much more leisurely driving at that speed, almost never having to pass a slower vehicle. Heck, we took 8 days to get to Portland. OR from central FL. No big deal. So relaxing averaging 400 miles/day, not having to rush.
