Bought my first bike in 1970, a 1968 Yamaha twin 2-stroke. The second bike I bought in 1973, and I still own it, a 1964 Ducati 250 scrambler.1971? Me too.

Go Elio. I hope to own the Elio for about 30 years before I pass it on to my Grand Kids, or maybe a Great grand Kid. My oldest grandson is 11 and already eyeing my CX500 Honda. My 3 sons are trying to work out who gets the Ducati, the XT500 and the KLR. The Ducati is kind of stalled in mid-restoration, as you can see by the photo.
My first bike was a 1969 CL100, bought in 1975. Have had lots of different bikes over years. Current bike is a 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere.Started off with a Sears 4hp mini bike, then a new 1971 Honda CL100 for my first real motorcycle then in 1974 I bought a new 1974 Sportster XLH1000 because of the TV show Then Came Bronson. I have a 1968 Bronson replica (avatar) owned dozens of bikes over the years. Currently ride a 2013 Honda CB1100.
Say what?????? Who?? Me?"Man, I wish I was you..."
"Oh really? Why?"
