I walk across Route 66 everyday when I walk my dogs but, it is in Springfield Mo.
Very cool, and very collectable!
People are really into buy and sell collectable license plates now.
Some for big money (like $50K for a 1914 plate)

They said they only need 2000 to sign up for it to make it happen, I don't think that number should be much of an issue. It's pretty neat; I'd do it.

I would consider I-75 N into Detroit to be the Devil's highway, with potholes deep enough to reach the gates of Hell.

I-90 94 around the south end of Lake Michigan is the Devil's Playground, as far as i'm concerned.
