Go to the Elio website, at the top right there's a link that's says "Fleet". Four businesses have already committed to buying Elio's for fleet use.I always assumed EM had commitments from fleets to buy the 100 vehicles, but perhaps that is incorrect. Perhaps EM is going to try to sell the 100 vehicles and they currently have no commitments from fleets to buy them.
PE has said they plan to sell the vehicles to "fleet or fleets". This sounds like they do not have buyers lined up.
I doubt it's an even split between the four. And I fail to see how a car wash and detailing service needs fleet vehicles like the Elio. Can we "assume" (yeah, I know) that with 4 fleet customers, that each will be testing 25 ???
Not necessarily. There can be extenuating circumstances. I bought an Escort for $400. Added $100 for a new head. Drove it to work and back for 2 years. Then sold it for $800. Not too bad of an investment.I was thinking, Ford Escort owners suffer from "poor judgement"...They bought a Ford!![]()

I hope the E Build testing includes running at least one E series through a car wash to see if it survives the test or can even track through a typical auto wash. Crap, I'll probably have to driveway wash the Elio.I doubt it's an even split between the four. And I fail to see how a car wash and detailing service needs fleet vehicles like the Elio.
You won't be able to get your oil changed at most franchise oil and lube garages either. The pit is in the middle of the vehicle track, right where the rear tire is.I hope the E Build testing includes running at least one E series through a car wash to see if it survives the test or can even track through a typical auto wash. A 2x6 solves that problem, I think they will manage. You won't be able to get your oil changed at most franchise oil and lube garages either. The pit is in the middle of the vehicle track, right where the rear tire is.
