I don't even give a damn anymore. I kissed my $500 goodbye and bought another car. I was really hoping they'd actually produce something long before I needed to replace my daily beater, but they failed horribly.

If I could get my "all in" money back I would. At this point I hope he chokes on it as I see no hope of a car ever being built.

Just so you know since you are $500 all in that 33251 number is not your reservation number it is simply an order number that does not translate into a spot in line number that people that have put in the $1000 non refundable get.

Anytime someone comes into money, they mostly say "It came just when I needed it." That's because most can always use extra money. I feel it will be the same way when(if) the Elio comes out. I think many who are disappointed now, will feel different when(if) it comes to production.

I never *needed* the Elio. I just thought it would make a nice "and" car; not because the money made a huge difference to me but because I like having an extra set of wheels around the house so that I'm not late for work if I walk out and see that my truck has a flat tire.... Well, I bought an "and" car. It's already paid for. Don't need two "and" cars.

At this point I doubt I'd buy an Elio if it came out tomorrow.

Why do you feel this is necessary to post here?

Seriously, what's with the recent influx of negativity? There has been no information released that would imply that a setback has occurred. Actually, I've seen nothing but good news from EM and all of their partners. Hopefully, it's just anxiety about the limited disclosures since the stock sale went live. That drought will almost certainly end next weekend, if not before, as PE is supposed to give us an update on the E-series builds at the Detroit auto show.
