The article mentioned the "front for Apple" rumor. If that's the case, money isn't an issue, but I'll bet a paycheck that it WON'T be built in the US...

I say it WILL be manufactured in the US. The USA builds cars, so I'll take a $1 of that bet since I'm retired with no paycheck.

Maybe they will take over half the Shreveport Plant or raise the plant and build a new one. It mentioned Louisiana as a contender in the article.

I thought about that, too. Elio is only using a portion of the Shreveport plant. [Insert dreams and wishes about Electric Elios here.]

It sounds like Faraday plans to manufacture their own battery packs to be used in their own vehicles and as part of a kit to retrofit other vehicles to electric. I'd like the option to be able to purchase an Elio without the drive train for $3800 and purchase an EV retrofit kit. Why? Just for the fun of it and No Gas Ever.
