We were told here in Maryville, we could leave at lunch and good luck. Took 4 hours to get home on Tuesday .

as this is being typed we are in just north west of Houston, TX .... our daughter and one of our son's family are back home in central NC in the path of the ice/snow .... we've heard that it started falling around 4AM .... our daughter's boss informed his department that he was going to take his computer and work from home today .... however, everyone else (mostly women) were expected to be at work on time and to stay all day .. ..

I stocked up yesterday. 3 teens and a 10 year old with my wife...ill gamble with nature again .

All will be quiet as long as there is power and internet

I live in North Central WV, and we are in a "state of emergency". I work at WVU, and they gave us today off with pay!! O yea.

Now as long as my power don't go off, I should be good to go. I got enough food here to last a few days.

Wish everyone good luck that is affected by this storm. Don't take unnecessary risks.

I am going to work Sunday afternoon to swap out with a co worker. Delivering pizza tonight arguing on the grounds to use the Escalade.

Wife says the city thugs will steal it. I said nah they already drive nicer ones than mine
