I know mine will be a little more than 6800. At minimum, I plan on upgrading the stereo. If all the vehicles were sold @ $6,800, that's over $328 MM in gross revenues.

lets not lose sight of the 50% incentives...........If all the vehicles were sold @ $6,800, that's over $328 MM in gross revenues.
Not just build them: "We’re excited to build these vehicles and, oddly enough, just as excited to tear them apart."
So they have some built, and taking them apart is even a better sign; means they're looking at build consistency; the parts from one car will fit another; a very important step in repeat building. If they only fit the car they were built for; you'd have a problem in mass production.
Whoa, hold on there big fella. Not just build them: "We’re excited to build these vehicles and, oddly enough, just as excited to tear them apart."

Well, I know EM has a TV commercial series, and we did jump to 350 for last week., given only 447 to go, I think them and I are both expecting to hit 50k next week or the week after."We’re excited to build these vehicles and, oddly enough, just as excited to tear them apart."
. . . Look closely it says nothing related to time-..

But really, they have to kick out these news letters every week, and have something useful to say. I would say this is about building excitement to get the most out of the 50k milestone as possible. One or two weeks, it's all good.
I think you missed post #2264
I agree on having continued weekly news letters with something useful to say. I look forward to the Momentum Newsletters, but personally don't get as excited about reservation numbers as EM does. I would get excited about news regarding the P5 testing, specifics with photos regarding the first completed E Build, information more relevant to production, than marketing numbers and advertising hype. I thought 35,000 reservations justified production to start back in 2014-15 and it didn't happen.Well, I know EM has a TV commercial series, and we did jump to 350 for last week., given only 447 to go, I think them and I are both expecting to hit 50k next week or the week after.

Yes, but also note the average rate of reservations before that announcement to discontinue the incentive, it still averaged around 100/day for half a year. My opinion is that there were more people that believed getting the vehicle into production was highly probable before the following two delays occurred.I think the spike in Sept.'14 was a reaction to get in under the wire, as E M announced the discontinuation of the incentives at the end of Sept. The Black Fri event we all speculated of a special progress announcement, turned out to be the reintroduction of the incentives, which are still in place
