Elon Musk said this:

He is the founder, CEO and chief engineer of SpaceX; angel investor, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc.; owner and CEO of Twitter, Inc.; founder of the Boring Company; co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI; and president of the philanthropic Musk Foundation.

Maybe he's not as smart as the three wheeled fans and needs to be convinced. He really hasn't done much and has little if any experience in transportation then it comes to the ground or even in flight. The three wheeled fans need to constantly badger him on why he needs to make a three wheeler or just buy a company. As we know, it's easy to tell the rich what to do with their money. I think Bill Gates was the previous one, people tried this with.

Really?? How did you figured it out??? I'm not a real fan of Elon Musk but must say if there's anything he doesn't do is sit around and do nothing.

I think we have way more knowledge of what he should do right here on this site. If he would have listened to us, he would have bought Elio a long time ago. Yet he did not and it shows he doesn't know what he's doing. Bill Gates had the opportunity to take over Elio yet passed on it. Again, another failure to society. Maybe he's working on the Microsoft Vista three wheeler right now and that'll show the world what he's made of.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda. It is what it is. If it were that simple, there'll be more ELIOs on the streets than TESLA and all the other EVs combined. Heck, I would've bought 2 and 1 each of my 20 grandkids! :becky:

Auto manufacturers don’t want or need to be motorcycle manufactures. The auto market demographic sees no value in a missing wheel. It’s a supplement to the family car at best. Better time spent trying to convince motorcycle manufacturers to develop an enclosed cabin trike. VW had a three wheeler concept ready for production and the legal team apparently pulled the plug citing to many liability issues. A few old retired bikers have purchased the FUV and like it and the feeling of riding open air behind the handlebars it provides. Many of those former bikers have stated, “they don’t need or want stinkin doors!”

I suggest you look at that three wheeler. Looks like a Vanderhall. Thus too hard to get into (as compared to a FUV) and no roof. Plus' the helmet laws at the time make it mandatory for many to wear them. In the end, I can see why VW cancelled the project. Only a few would buy it and not make it profitable due to lack of volume. Plus, it was to cost $17K back in 2006. So only the billionaires could afford it at the time. That would be just over $25K today. Way too expensive. People today can't even get loans for that kind of money.

That was 2 years ago. So if he liked it then he needs to tell the boss about it.

The way things are going, we only have two choices, Mark's offer and build your own..
Doesn't seem like a tuff modification to whatever that is on the left...
Probably just a CGI, but google image search turned up nothing.

It would be nice if one company would make a three wheeler for the poor other than Arcimoto.

The three wheeler you show is too hard to get into, only a single seat and no windscreen wiper. It's a no go too.
