I'm wondering how this vehicle would be inspected. would be inspected as a car or motorcycle?

Elio is still referring to it as a 3wheeled MC due to regulations regarding 3wheel vehicles. That being said I guess it would be inspected ass a MC. o_O

Hope it never has to go up on the rack, I don't know of any places set up to work on a 3 wheeler. I can just imagine some sloppy mechanic driving it on a normal rack and raising it, and the back end swinging down

I expect the Elio will be easy to maintain and most owners of Elios will be like motorcycle owners, they will want to do their on work.

According to the federal government this is a motorcycle and most states will treat it as such for registration and inspection purposes.
