what day do you plan to be there

Jim
I was planning on being there on the 6th & arriving between 7pm and 8pm. Depending on if other people plan to be there around then as well. If everyone does early in the day and leaves there's no point in my going.

Nice! I just checked last night and they hadn't updated it yet. So they decided on a more central location in Charlotte. I was hoping for the Concord Mills, but I'll just be happy to see it in person.

Oh, and for those who cannot find the link, (it doesn't show up on the Eliomotors.com events or blog link) here is where you can find it:

I really wish they would get that blog link integrated with the one linked on their main page

Tony, you are relatively new to this site so you may not be aware of the Events calendar. I am responsible for the events calendar and try to find as much up-to-date information from any source. Others also contribute to this activity. I pull the initial information from the EM website but have learned recently that the Facebook page sometimes will have tidbits of information in the quotes attached to the pictures the tour group posts. I also always watch the Blogs and Tech Talks for information. If the two are contradictory, I post the information and state that since I have no way of know why the info is contradictory and which info is correct. I post in the first thread of the events calendar thread and then again at the end of that thread so it is in at least two places there. I also post at least once in the Regional Forum in the appropriate state and frequently post it as a separate thread simply because that way more people become aware of it being there. I hope this information will help you in the future. It is great to have you on board this group. :-) Z

Okay... I was talking about the difference between these two pages:

http://blog.eliomotors.com/
http://www.eliomotors.com/blog/

There really should only be one blog that they post and update. It's confusing to have two and not have them synchronized. I am assuming that both of those sites are managed by Elio Motors. Or is that where you are talking about doing the updates?

No. I do the updates on this site only. I get my information from as many sources as I can find. I'm not familiar with how EM website works, but when I worked and we had changes to make to our website, I had to prepare the necessary information and then the website people would update it as soon as they could. The new information in this case, came out late on Friday. I have no way of knowing when or how the information was received. But I do know, it is more than likely the person(s) responsible for updating the website was/were already gone for the day so it will have to wait until tomorrow. Is the fact? No. It is absolutely speculation and personal opinion based on my own personal experience working in a small cog of a large organization. :-) Z

Actually if you look carefully you will notice that both of those links have different layouts however they actually contain exactly the same blog entries as they are likely pulling their information from the same WordPress database.

http://blog.eliomotors.com/ is where the blog has been available for some time now
http://www.eliomotors.com/blog/ is new as of just a few weeks ago when the new website design went live which is why it is integrated with the new website layout however it is apparently suffering from a software bug which does not have it defaulting to the latest blog entries even though they are available if you select November 2014. EM needs to be informed that there is an issue with this page.
