Accessories when the first Elio's roll out:
The Marshalling Centers will be install all the options. At first there will only be one by the factory.
When roll out first starts, they were supposed to have 9 <?> of the retail centers set up in general areas in the country.
More will follow; along with marshalling centers regionally.

The wraps:
The wraps are $1,700 as they stand now; still subject to change.
There is an active thread going that covers every aspect of the wraps , just look for it in the General Elio Discussions.

Did I miss anything?

Perhaps you can answer a question for me. Across the street we have a neighbor with a vehicle which produces an enormous amount of low frequency sound. When he sits in his driveway and turns the volume up to "11", our house shakes and the windows rattle. When I walk across the street and ask him to kindly turn it down, the sound is loud but not earth shaking.Why is it so much louder in our house than being within five feet of the speakers in his car?

Yea, the part about the lead-in time and selection of options a few months before they produce your unit, first run until they catch-up- i.e.you won't be able to see your specific E rolling off the line and the "suggestion", that in the future you'll be able to order and take delivery the next day! Always thought, and still do, that ain't gonna happen!! financing,paper work, temporary plates, test drives, option selections - feel, touch see, wait your turn, and B.S. with reps. O K just might happen if you get there at 12:01a m order it, and pick it up 11:59 p m the following day !!
I don't begin to understand how Amazon can deliver in Seattle (some items in hours) next day or the ever amazing prime 2 day for the rest of the country!!

There are several reasons it has lasted so long.
I'm going to venture a few guesses...1) the base color (factory paint) is white? 2) You live up north, which means shorter/ milder summers, compared to the south. 3) Vans have very few "horizontal" surfaces, compared with a car...other that the "roof" which doesn't usually get covered, because no one sees it. 4) They used high quality (8-9 year) vinyl. 5) Being a commercial vehicle, it gets washed often. 6) "If" the DAV has more than one van, the company that you work for, just might have a contract with the "graphic installer" to replace (re-do) the wraps every few years (or "as needed" due to accidents (or other damage) and you may not be aware of it. fwiw

As some materials (insulation, walls, air) absorb different frequencies at different rates, it might be the same with different amplitudes.

It could also be a "get off my lawn" perception.

Here are some of the elements in play,,
1) Much of the sound you would feel or hear is being converted to the other in a form that impacts you more.
2) The house is a big target and much of what would have passed you by is being caputured by the house.
3) The capture is due to the issue of resonance. Parts of the house have a resonance in match to parts of the spectrum coming from that car.
4) The house is acting like a sounding-board much like the body of an acoustic gitar.

Anderson, THANK YOU for driving our vets to their VA hospital appointments. I drove to the Las Vegas VA complex (250 mile round trip) for over a year when I lived in Arizona and logged over 15,000 miles. Our vans had wraps and were parked out in the Arizona sun but we wore them out before I ever saw any deterioration of the wraps.

LOL... That's the funny thing about Bass. In my truck, which has a factory sub under the back seat, there are definite sweet spots inside and there is quite a difference when you lean forward vs. lean back. I was in the driveway, got out for something and noticed you could hardly even hear it near the truck but in the house, it was very obvious. That isn't really an answer, just a similar observation. The real answer has to do with the length of the bass wave which is measured in feet.

Just got this week's Elio Momentum, and I noticed the Custom Car Cover as an accessory. Since my Elio would be parked outside unless I win the lottery and can afford to buy a house, I'm interested in that accessory, but I've heard of problems with other car covers. Namely, is there a tendency to keep moisture in between the cover and the body, thus increasing corrosion? Will it help keep the car cooler in the sun during summer? Does anyone have any experience with other car covers?

I don't know if this is still an issue or not, but people have experienced the paint coming off from the cover being taken off.
