It would have to be good on at least E10 since you cannot get anything with less ethanol anywhere around here from a regular gas station. I think there are also a handful of states that make it mandatory to use E10 instead of regular unleaded.

I would be shocked if the Elio could run E85.
In Texas, I believe E10 is mandated for regular, but some boat owners indicate the mid grade may be less because it works better in their boats. Ethanol is really hard on the marine motors. It's also hard on Lawn mowers.

But I suspect the question and answer is pointed towards E85 and up.

Paul Elio has said the vehicle is not set up for ethanol gas and that is concern. Most stations in my area have the corn.
You're in Houston? Is it flooding in your area?
I saw on the news today that Houston was experiencing life threatening flooding, and that they told people to stay home.
How well does the Cruze float? <just kidding>
From the looks of the area, it's bad down there.

I was flooded in for about 5 hours. It's not atypical in my area. I'm about 100 miles east of Houston. Streets are designed to hold water to slow down the water entering the drainage channels to mitigate flooding along the river. It's a price of living in flat land.

I am being enticed to get an ev. Maybe a volt. Work is installing ev chargers and sent out a survey asking what different kinds of chargers would we need. And the charging will be free.

My wife and I were just talking the other day, and we've decided that (with the exception of the Elio) we are never going back to gas cars. Our Leaf is amazing, and in three years or so I expect we'll be able to pick up a 2017 Chevy Bolt freshly off of a lease for a decent price. (They say it will have a 200 mile range).
Tips for buying an EV:
1) If you are buying a pure-electric like the Nissan Leaf: make sure it has a DC fast-charging socket in addition to the regular charge socket. If an EV doesn't have two sockets, move on (although not so much an issue with the Volt).
2) Ask about the size of the inverter. 6.6 Kilowatts is pretty much standard at this point, so don't accept anything less. The size of the inverter determines how much juice a standard AC charging station can pump into the battery, so Higher KW = Faster charge.
3) Charge time also depends on the amperage of the charging station, so keep that in mind if/when you decided to buy a home station. But all EVs these days come with a 110v trickle charger that is adequate for overnight charging, and if you are getting free charging at work then you might not even need that.

I've noticed that Fred Meyer's (supermarket chain) have two stations to allow folks to "Charge and Shop"

88? Hmm it was 92 down here, and like Seattle, it's doing to be a repeat today.
I was enjoying the A/C in the house. After living in the Seattle area for years A/C wasn't a very common item for houses; I move down here and the first thing I notice is that almost every house has central A/C; I found out why later that year.
It's amazing how much difference 150 miles can make in Western WA.

Charging Stations; I haven't seen any around here; I know there is a fast charge at the Mile 11 Rest Stop, it was the first station done on the I-5 corridor when that program first came out a few years ago, but I haven't seen any put up in town. There are a couple of Tesla's running around (that ugly brown they have makes them unforgettable) and I have seen a Leaf but here you would think they'd have more. Instead we have a LOT of big 4x4 trucks running around, along with little 4x4 trucks that have been lifted about 3 feet with monster tires. These are the ones you normally see covered in mud.
They have Bio-Fuel and a number of stations, and CNG fills.

Plugshare.com shows several stations around Battleground, WA, but mostly along the I-5 corridor. Note that the blue ones are privately-owned by people who share their home charging stations with other PlugShare members. Pretty neat!
