One part I wonder about is: your windshield is laminated glass (2 layers with plastic in-between) when you project on it, it has the possibility of giving you a double image because of the angle of the glass. Is there a "projection screen" that you apply to the windshield so it doesn't do that?
The unit comes with a projection screen. It's a little piece of plastic that flips up into your line of sight. The display is projected on that and the image is focused so that it looks like it's actually floating about 2 meters in front of you, so you don't have to change the focus of your eyes to use it. The link that was provided earlier has a video that demonstrates this. Since the image is never projected onto the windshield, you don't have to worry about the windshield affecting your display.

Does anyone know if the rear seat is going to be adjustable at all for comfort during long drives? I'm curious how my passenger is going to handle a 6+ hour drive if we go on any vacations in the Elio.

Just overall, rear seat comfort is a concern for me for long distance driving. The Elio seems like a perfect vehicle to take for long distance driving, but if my passenger isn't comfortable, I may have to suck it up and take their car.

Great question. I don't remember hearing of an adjustable back seat. There's been talk of more head room for the back seat, and more padding. My guess is that the back seat will not be adjustable.

Adjustable? Yes, it's either folded down, or it's in the up position for seating. :p
As for making it more comfortable on a long trip, take some small pillows along.

Ok, kidding aside, I have never heard anything about it being adjustable; but that's no different than the majority of cars and bikes on the road. Yes, I know there are exceptions, that's why I said "majority or the cars and bikes".;)

Was wondering about the back seat.

Dimensions ?
Sight lines ?
Accessories like power outlet or cup holder ?

Is there space to lean and nap upright ?
I did sit in the back seat of the P5. Getting in was easy enough, considering my 6'3" frame. Once seated, I had a clear view out the rear side windows as well as the front door windows and even a bit of the windshield. Headroom was adequate and didn't feel cramped at all. The seat was rather flat, as in no bolstering, but I am sure that Elio will add some of that for the production vehicle. The padding that was there was adequate for short trips, but a 200 mile trip might be a challenge comfort-wise. I could see a passenger shifting over to one side and being able to sleep back there. A representative for Elio told me that grab assist handles would be available as an option, if so desired. I felt that was a great option as I did have a bit of difficulty getting out. Those handles properly placed would help a lot. Didn't see a cup holder or power outlet, but there would be room for both in the rear (hope Elio is listening!). I was expecting the rear seat to be cramped, but was actually astounded at the room back there!

I don't know -- if so they're not making any noise about it -- but I think it's likely to have some static-cling affair that will properly reflect the Navdy display. I'll tell you soon as mine arrives!

6 hrs in the back seat of any car would seem like an eternity. Oh the humanity!
