Nope, it's real..... and real expensive compared to the Elio. The T-rex is also rear-wheel drive using a motorcycle drive-train. They used to use the ZX14, but are now using a BMW 1600. They also have a more 'roadster' model using a Harley Davidson v-twin. As for the Aero 3S........

Saw a T-Rex at Bike Week this year. Had Ontario plates as I recall. Interesting looking ride.
