Selling My $1000 Reservation For $800

I have an all in reservation which can be transfered to another person, and it's worth $1500 nonrefundable, and I'm willing to sell it for $800. Just post here if interested or PM me.

The Spot in Line will not be transferable but the reservation itself will be. I've given up on waiting for this car because I need the money back now, due to debt. Help me out here, and thank you

I think it's possible, but the buyer would go to the back of the line of the reservation holders. Personally, I have no problem with this since Elio has put off production for so long, and offered eliocoin buyers a SIL in front of us long time supporters/reservation holders.

I too wouldn't worry about SIL because while we all get our panties in a bunch I know that if the Elio starts mass production the wait will be short to get through the list. My concern is that Elio has stated, as far as I know, that you can't sell reservations. Even if you could I doubt they'd honor the bonus money since that is kept in limbo on their books. I'd need a certified document from Elio before considering this.

Paul and EM refuted that. It was the Overstock CEO that started the rumor.
There is a post on this site that featured EM's response to a member asking about this.
EM's response was that our SILs were secure and basically no-one was going to be leap-frogging.

The idea of selling your reservation has for a very long time been kicked around, and I don't recall any policy to prohibit it. I do think however it might require EM's approval. -This came up with the passing of "Z", and it was given to her son. What a wonderful woman, she will live on even if the "&" doesn't.

I mentioned this before when someone wanted to sell their reservation.... Your best bet is to go ahead and keep the reservation and when (if) the Elio is released accept delivery of the car. Then, advertise it for sale and you might ever be able to make a profit.
