Say "Hello" to OSpencerO who is looking forward to his Elio.
I want to get 84 mpg, I'm american made and need a new vehicle costing only $6,800.


Honestly, I came here to say "Hello" to all of the future Elio owners.


The Elio has been a dream car of mine since I found out about it over 4 years ago.
I need something economical that will also be fun to drive.
It is unique so it matches my style and INFj personality.
I want my Elio to be Sour Apple / Green depending on what the wraps will look like.
I am definitely getting a Manual Transmission.
I want either the glass roof or sunroof depending on costs.
I definitely want Leather.
I don't care much about cruise control but my guess is that their will be a premium package that I will want and it will be lumped it.
I want a bluetooth capable in dash navigation system but I don't know if I will install it myself or have it factory installed.
I used to be an MECP master installation technician so features and cost will be the deciding factor.
I am also looking forward to seeing the speaker location and
I don't know if I will buy the other options or not depending on looks and/or cost but I'm looking forward to seeing the glass roof, wraps, spoilers and custom wheels.
Hopefully, I will also visit Louisiana for the first time when buying this car.
I have literally had dreams about me driving the Elio and getting 84 miles per gallon. o_O
Just out of curiosity, has anyone else?

Hi and welcome from Oregon, Spencer. I have also had dreams about driving the Elio. I have made some great trips that way. LOL I do want to correct one assumption of yours - there will be no packages. That is one thing Paul Elio is insisting on for options. They will be individually priced with a specified % markup. Therefore you will only buy exactly the items you want. He gives a lot of information under the Elio Store tab on the EM website. If you have not read it, I recommend that you do. It is a whole new approach to selling vehicles. This is a great place to learn a lot about Elio and other vehicle information. The group is diverse and from all over the country. I hope you enjoy sharing your knowledge with them and reading theirs. We also have a terrific support staff so if you have any questions or issues be sure to contact them.
