most of the full timers we have met from SD aren't really from the state, they use SD for their official home base .... Emery is 60 or so miles west of Sioux Falls .... we are currently in NC on our way in our camper to Estelline which is about 80 miles north of Sioux Falls .... that's my wife's hometown and we spend our summers camped by their city park .... if there are 2 of you and you are in a motorhome, an Elio would be an exceptional towed vehicle

Question.....When you tow a vehicle does it register mileage on the odometer ? If so, is there a method to eliminate all the "false" mileage?

much depends on the vehicle .... with most the transmission must be placed in neutral and for vehicles that the odometer is controlled by a sensor, the mileage may not register .... one sure way with a front wheel drive, is to tow it with those tires off the ground .... a tow dolly or on a trailer .... most shops that I've seen that can handle the wiring harness and tow bar install would be capable of answering that question .... a dealership for the vehicle could also be another source for info

Hello, My wife and I are full timers living in our RV. Living the life of retirement. Would like your cement 0n towing this vehicle.
69Williams welcome to the forum and the Elio family. There are several threads on towing the Elio and I'm certain you will find it informative. Enjoy both the forum and the journey with us.
