Lots of disheartening messages of late... sad to see. However, I still want to take something good from all this. For me, it seems that, regardless of producing a car or not, Elio did manage to help push forward three wheel transportation. The requirements seem to be much less than a four wheel vehicle. With the rules as they are, is it now viable for a home mechanic to design and make a three wheeled car? It does not have to get 84 mpg, and several other bits; but still... I have always wanted to make my own car....
