Also... The hump is still there on this E-series roller.
And the momentum again seems to have a new author.
It's very well written and conspicuously lacking in BS padding.
I was an Amazed Elio Momentum v103 reader.
" high pressure, die-casted aluminum " I assume is messy stuff. I wonder if they will farm this out or be smelting in Shreveport. Too Cool! Pun.

Given the position and height of the console that's mounted on the right side of the cockpit (featuring: emergency brake handle, arm rest, gear shifter for both manual and automatic transmissions, and cup holder) I assume the interior configuration would require a total shakeup in order to accommodate a second door.

Assuming the shoulder harness for the driver's seat will be mounted over the right shoulder from what is now the right wall of the vehicle, that ought to free up any hardware from being installed on the interior of the B-pillar on the left-hand side. I'd rather see a smaller suicide door that opens in opposition to the traditional door, yielding a large opening for accessing the rear seat area. I, for one, plan on toting a toddler in that seat, and getting him buckled/unbuckled from his car seat would be loads easier with a door opening that stretched further to the rear.

The current Elio door to my eye looks quite large. I have not seen one in person.
In this picture the front seat looks pushed most or all the way back.
I think there should be plenty of room for getting the little ones in and out.

Maybe not as easy as a mini van or 4 door, but easy enough to not be a hassle.
