Hi, fellow hopefuls!
At this time of several quite promising new technologies under development to finally replace the internal combustion engine, with none of it ready for mass production, I see the Elio as the perfect vehicle to use until the ideal solution is ready for the market place. Meanwhile I can live with running a small gas powered vehicle with over 60 mpg and a pocket-change price tag. I am actually eager to get my hands on this cute little commuter. Used to ride a Suzuki Burgman until it got totaled by a kid in a little Honda and my wife didn't want me to ride on two wheels again - EVER! But this thing has THREE, and she's ok with that! Bring it on, Paul!

Hello and welcome form another Oregonian, Alfred. I'm glad to hear your wife has approved this sweet 3 wheeler. It is also going to be much more comfortable in some of your hotter weather there in Medford. I go to Medford once a month and always look forward to getting home to my cooler climate. LOL Are you going to Portland to see the Elio this weekend? It will be at the Washington Square Mall in Beaverton on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am planning on driving up on Friday with the hope the crowds will be smaller on that day. We have another couple in Medford who are planning to drive up there over the weekend I believe. They live a little East of Medford. I hope you and your wife find this forum as interesting and exciting as I do. I thoroughly enjoy reading most of the posts here and look forward to possibly meeting some of the Elio owners after getting my Elio. Enjoy this exciting adventure as we journey toward Elio production and ownership. My Elio in 2015! :-) Z

Welcome aboard the Elio train to the future of simple, personal transportation!

We all share and feed off of each other's dreams. Most of our dreams are identical, duplicates of others thoughts and dreams, but rarely does a day pass without some new twist on a dream that none of us have ever heard. . . . . Guess what I'm trying to say Alfred, is, jump in. Share what's on your mind. . . . . .and read. READ the threads and learn. Form lasting bonds with other Elio "family" members here and time will fly.

Our Elio's are 24 hours closer each new day with the rising of the sun!

Welcome from the Bayou State, Louisiana, and the future birth place of Paul Elio's new little Elio! :D
