I was wondering if it was an actual release, or just an application to be listed on the NASDAQ.

"A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective." yet!

Alright, I'll ask the question:

Why raise $100 million if they need over $200 million to start production?

I didn't see a dollar amount, only: "The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined."

Hopefully it's enough to start production and get one in our driveways!

I was thinking the same way. Paul has said he is looking for production funding. Anything less does not make sense to me if Elio is indeed ready for production. Maybe 100million opens Shreveport, with all tooling in place.

Because, they are seeking funding from multiple sources. It's not an all or nothing deal.
To me, it means that they already have the rest promised.
