Just finished talking with Peggy Rotundo after her reelection, she just sent me an email, her feedback was;
"Thanks, John. I would suggest waiting to see who is going to be on the Transportation Committee and look for a sympathetic sponsor there for the autocycle bill. I am happy to help with it, but the most effective way to guarantee passage would be to have a respected member of the Transportation Committee introduce it. The Committee appointments should be taking place in the coming weeks. Does this all make sense? All the best,peggy"
Any fellow Mainers interested in helping to get auto cycle back on the books? Call me any time 240-4773, let's put a good bill in front of the Legislature.
