Put my $100 all in on the 7th. Got to see the Elio at the Freedom Fair on the waterfront in Tacoma. Really exciting concept. I commute 65 miles a day so really would love the mileage. I have also shared the message with folks at work and one is heading to Portland today with his wife to see the Elio. They may get two!

BTW, reading posts here makes me think I should increase my investment!

Tim, welcome to the forum and the Elio family. I started out with a $100 reservation and then watched the interest in the Elio grow and my place in line slip farther down. Made two upgrades to $1K to be able to lock in my place in line. If I had done it when I initially went in in Sep 2013 I would have a number around 1500. At that time Elio had less than 10,000 reservations. As you can see by March 2014 when I went all- in for $1K my number ended up being more than twice as far down the list. Now they are over 24,000. Only you can decide how much you want to invest. Most of us believe Elio will have around 40,000 reservations by the end of the year Just depends where you are willing to be on the waiting list. Hi and welcome from Oregon, Tim. I saw the Elio in Portland yesterday and love it even more than I did when I went there. It is something else! I hope your friends had a safe and happy trip. The mall itself, is huge so once you are there and find the Elio, everything is fine. However, the traffic getting to and around Portland was a nightmare to someone who no longer lives in a big city. I hope you enjoy the diverse and interesting group who dwell in this forum. You couldn't ask for nicer people to spend your waiting time with. There are many ideas, lots of creativity, speculation, accurate information and humor all focused on the Elio and beyond. Enjoy the adventure! :-) Z
