Just went all in and am waiting to find out my number, I just found this owners group and cant wait to be a real live owner.... We currently own a spider, the 3 wheel motorcycle with 2 up front like the Elio. I love the low cg and the way it rides, cant wait to see how the elio rides. Should be awesome.

Hi and welcome from Oregon, nthawk68. I hope you enjoy this exciting journey to Elio production and ownership. If you have not already, be sure to add your information to the survey and map. This helps us see where our future Elio travelers will be. If you have not seen the Elio, there is an opportunity at "The Taste of Denver" (I think that is what it is called) I believe in August. To verify information check out our Elio Event Calendar. We update information as it becomes available to us from EM website. I or someone else also adds information in the regionalforums concerning events in the various areas. There is a lot to read and discuss so jump in and enjoy the ride. :-) Z

This is going to be exciting to watch the birth of the Elio. I hope Elio motors takes as good care of us Elio Motors as CanAm takes Care of the Spyder owners. They have an annual ride in for Spyder Riders to attend and show off their bikes, CanAm foots the bill for a dinner and lunches and holds a customized show for the bike owners to show their wears. It is a fun event when you get ideas on how to improve your ride. Hopefully we will have the first ever Elio Ride in somewhere to see what everyone has done to their rides and see what Elio is doing.

Jeff, where in Kansas do you live, I spend quite a bit of time between Goodland and Sharon Springs. I m anxious to see how the Elio handles crosswinds

Very cool! I'm in Norton, about 110 miles northeast of Goodland. Yes, the wind DOES blow in western KS, especially in Goodland and that area. Based on what I know, with the Elio's aerodynamic form, 30 mph cross-winds should be no problem. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
