Ok so last week I found out about the Elio wile on the hunt for a gas sipping (I know I know JUST NOW?) and I had to look in to it as I did not believe the claims. After obsessing with finding out "the truth" about Elio I came to realize that this was no pipe dream. I am now an ALL IN reserver at the 1000 level and am chomping at the bit!

Hi and welcome from Oregon, Nitro. You can chomp all you want but I'm afraid you will have to wait along with the rest of us. LOL Congratulations on the reservation. We should get our numbers sometime around the first week of September. You will know when it happens because this place pops when people are getting their numbers. In the mean time, if you haven't already read everything available before making your decision, jump right in and be prepared to learn. Thanks! I do have a few questions that I can't seem to find an answer for. Is there a full optional equipment list floating around? Has Elio tested the MPG on manual VS auto? Will the Interior match the exterior color or do we have options to mix and match? Dose the steering linkage veer to one side of the motor (I would think most likely) or under? What kind of spark system? Coil over? Distributor? Other? Just to name a few

Nitro, there is a brief list options on the Elio site without prices. Jerome (VP of Sales) said they hope to produce a fairly firm list this fall with prices that people could roughly budget for.
MPG is all computer simulated so far as until the vehicles that are under construction now are completed they won't be able to test it with the IAV engine. All previous prototypes have used 20+ year old engines.
There will be the option to mix and match interior color.

Wow thanks for the info that helps alot. I have seen the list of options on the sight but as u stated there are no prices and it also states that there are more to come... Looks like we will have to hang in there till the fall
