This 3-wheel thing showed on Facebook and looked like a streamlined Morgan (for you old enough to know what a Morgan IS since they still make them!). Always thought the Morgan was a great idea, basically. Just needed the improvements featured in the Elio. I have a great concern about the engine design and wonder if power steering will be available if the steering is "heavy." I also wonder what you get for base price and what options will be available at what price. Specifics are missing or I am unable to find: fuel injection? Overhead cam (s)? Hydraulic valve adjusters? Auto transmission (hydro-mechanical, smart-type electro mechanical or CVT mechanical)? Where do I find why there is just a prototype after 7 years?

another good source of official info is Elio Motors web site where the following info like this can be found :
