Well, I just bumped up my all-in level from $100 to $500, a bit more than 1 year from the date I went all in at $100 (12-2-13). It's not $1000, but I'll take what I can get.

I know the order number has nothing to do with the in-line since I'm not at $1000, but it's interesting to see when I did the $100 the number was xxxxxx789 and now with the $500 level it's xxxx39191 and as of Dec18th the reservations were at 37710, so maybe we're close to 40k!

Happy New Year all!

congratulations .... I don't understand how an upgrade can generate an increase in the number of registrations .... how does moving someone from one place in the tine to a different place in the line make the line any longer ? .... if the 37710 is just a receipt number and has nothing to do with how many reservations they have, that would make sense

Congratulations on your upgrade. Many of us did the same and you just moved ahead of all those with $100 reservations.

Yeah I'm sure it's just a receipt number now that you mention it, at least my order number (39191), I believe the 37710 number that they post on the main site is the total number of unique reservations.

that's my understanding as well but I still haven't heard if that number includes just "All In" reservations or if it includes both "All In" and "Want In"

It should be total reservations, Paul has said in interviews that somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% of that number are the all in non-refundable variety.

From what I understand the number you receive when making a reservation or upgrading is only a receipt number not actual number of reservations. As of Dec.18 reservations were in the 37000 range and receipts are in the 39000 range. This would account for the difference in reservations verses receipt numbers.

Congratulations Mr.Smith, your half way there! With a little luck on our side, this time next year you'll be making plans to finalize your options and delivery schedule.:)

My understanding is that you will get your Elio sooner with the upgrade. You don't get to say you have car number X with the $500 reservation, but $500 reservations get their car before the $100 all-in reservations, who get theirs before the $1000 refundable reservations, etc.
