Elio In Portland, Or...aug 3-4...or Not ?

Which is easier to say..."Start of production relies completely on funding" or "nothing is set in stone." Same thing we have been hearing.

I like what Neil mentioned about another aspect of delivery; they are talking about offering To Your Door Delivery
The number he said that he thought he heard was "$60 - $70 besides the delivery to the general area.

I would jump all over the "To Your Door Delivery". Thanks for going and getting some feedback.

Hey Coss,

As far as the thing Jerome supposedly said about production (which he didn't - it was a miscommunication of some sort obviously).

Here is the answer: "Nothing has changed. The targeted production start date is still in mid-2016. This was a miscommunication between Jerome and a great fan of Elio, but it was a simple miscommunication. Jerome didn't say that production was delayed until anything but 2016". These things take on a life of their own, but please do not take rumors and make them into something bigger than they are. We communicate anything that happens with Elio Motors clearly and in a timely fashion and will continue to do that so you know what is really happening when we do.

Telephoned...Hilton Garden Inn (Portland Airport) - Portland, Oregon concerning proto-type display for Mon-Tues, 3rd - 4th Aug, 2pm-8pm.
As is posted on the "official Elio Events board."
Hotel staff have no records, nor advance knowledge of such an event.
At this late date, would think there needs to be an official announcement of sorts.
Lot of unaware dissapointed driving-in Elio folks in Portland and the NW (without advance notice).

This is not unusual
At Hotels they setup in the parking lot away from the hotel traffic.
