Baltimore Washington Area Needs To See Elio...

Dear Friends,

We recently missed out of what could have been a very good show.
The Smithsonian Magazine recently hosted an event in May, called
"THE FUTURE IS HERE". The Elio vehicle was on display. It would
have been nice to plan a Saturday family visit to the Smithsonian, while
also getting the chance to see our dream car.

Why did we miss out? The event carried ticket prices of $250 to $350
dollars per person. Hmmmmm.....I think I would prefer my Elio without
the optional Gold plating....LOL...

There was another recent show in Greenbelt, Maryland. Unfortunately
that show was held on a Monday. Those of us that have to work could
never attend a show on a week day.

Perhaps those of us that live in the Baltimore/Washington area could make
some very nice verbal telephone calls to the Elio customer service phone
line. Each of us should ask if they would please schedule a FREE SHOWING
of our Elio dream car in the Baltimore/Washington area....ON A WEEKEND.
Can a few of us make these calls? I have.

It's gonna be rather cool and frustrating when I start seeing E's around here until I get mine.

Follow the Elio blog for locations in your area. With the P5 (aka E1) brought to public view in November at the LA car show I'm sure they will be doing another cross country tour with it. The blog and their news letters are very good about making announcements of places and times.
As for calling EM for what could be considered almost a private viewing I don't think you would get a great response from EM; well that is, if you were a vendor/supplier (actually a small group of them) you might have a chance of having the request fulfilled. The Tour Group is one of the hardest working group of upbeat people I've ever met but they're also very busy most of the calendar year.
You can try, but I don't see a big chance of that request succeeding.
