We are very glad to have you here. It is great that you are interested in this vehicle and were wiling to put down your hard earned money to make this happen. I myself will be at the air show in Rome on the 18th and a number of other members are planning to attend as well. We have a thread about this event which even includes a link to Groupon for some discounted tickets and parking:

He is a wealth of knowledge. We try to make the forum informative and entertaining and look forward to your comments and opinions. It's a great experience and exciting journey.

Thanks, Jim H. I have been lurking for a few days before I signed up. Just making sure this was worth my time and effort. So far, so good. Love all the weird ideas, wraps & skins people have come up with. Have to think on some of these topics for awhile. I'm not a gearhead.
I'm not a gearhead either but those that are do a pretty good job in trying to explain the issues to us. Hi and welcome from Oregon, JanDru. Congratulations on your number. I don't know quite what to think about all you "old guys" in your 50s and 60s. If I let it get to me, I'd be feeling like an old relic because I am so much older than you. However, since I didn't start living my life until I was 40, I am perfectly comfortable claiming to only be 33 this year. I hope you enjoy this site. It is a great group to spend time with and it looks like a Georgia Elio group is already getting together and making more plans. Enjoy this exciting journey to Elio production and ownership. See you next year driving our Elios. :-) Z

I wasn't going to go due to moving, however due to a plumbing emergency at the new local that has been delayed a few months. Since I'm off anyway I'm considering going there.

Welcome! No need to be a gearhead or anything as far as that goes. As long as you have an open mind and a good personality you'll do just fine around here.
